Group Fitness

Planet Fitness has three individual air-conditioned group fitness rooms running a wide variety of classes - from the world-renowned Les Mills Fitness classes through to our very own Planet Fitness Freestyle programs. There are weight training classes, aerobic workouts, circuit classes, indoor cycling and mind-body classes (including Yoga and Pilates) for you to choose from, and you can push yourself as hard or as easy as you like in each.

Class Descriptions

Body Pump by Les Mills: a revolutionary weight training workout that strengthens, tones and defines every muscle in your body. Appealing to men and women, from beginners to experienced weight trainers.

Body Balance by Les Mills: the ultimate mind-body class combining yoga, tai-chi and Pilates to music. Body Balance is a stress release workout that strengthens, tones and stretches the whole body leaving you feeling centred and balanced.

Body Attack: a high-intensity interval training, to build stamina and cardio-vascular fitness every time. Appealing to men and women, Body Attack is ideal for anyone with a moderate fitness level.

Body Sculpt: a basic, low impact total body workout which is fun and easy to follow. Using hand weights and light resistance to tone and sculpt. Great for all levels of fitness.

Pilates: A floor workout, designed to strengthen your tummy, thighs and butt. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Abs, Butts & Thighs: a 45 minute workout that concentrates on toning the abs, butt and thighs. For all fitness levels.

Crunch: a 15 minute workout that targets trunk stability, abdominal training and lower back strengthening. Great for all fitness levels.

Cross Trainer: enjoy this high energy combination low impace class focusing on cardio-vascular endurance, muscle conditioning and toning work - including cardio, strength and toning. A real challenge!

Active Over 50's: a fully supervised session incorporating movement to music, strength, stretching and abdominal work in a sociable setting.

Spinn & Shape: a class combining cardio-vascular work and resistance training. Consisting of 30 minutes indoor cycling and 30 minutes strength and toning work with resistance equipment. Great for burning calories and toning.
