About the Class

This high intensity interval training session (HIIT) incorporates a variety of cardio and strength based conditioning. The bodys ability to move functionally is challenged week after week using body weight exercises, power and pylometric moves, barbell weights and hand weights. Be sure to let your trainer know if you’re a beginner, as progressional exercises are always offered. For the intermediate to advanced, be prepared to take your training to the next level.

This form of cardio intersperses intervals of high-intensity exercise (such as sprinting) with intervals of either low-intensity exercise (such as walking at a slow pace) or complete rest. This style is a departure from continuous steady-state (slow and steady) cardio that most people do at a moderate intensity for 30-60 minutes.
