Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
Clear Sky Australia was formed in June 2018 by 3 directors who have been involved in Community Services for over 30 years collectively. Our company and dedicated staff are passionate about supporting individuals with health and fitness goals.

If yes, what have you done previously?
Clear Sky Australia runs a variety of programs with a strong focus being on promoting health and fitness and independence.

Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
The clients of Clear Sky Australia all have fitness related goals. We are here to improve our health and set an example to other services and people with a disability that with the right support and facilities you can achieve your goals.

Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
We are still working on our goals, but out fitness is improving each week and some individuals have actually exceeded their weight loss goals.

What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
We had tried other gyms in the past but they just didn’t have the same feel as Planet Fitness. The staff here know us all on the first name basis and make us feel so supported and welcomed.

What are your fitness goals for the future?
Clear sky Australia wants to continue supporting individuals with their health and fitness goals taking a holistic approach  to provide support and education in all areas of life and of course attending Planet Fitness.

Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
If you find a path with no obstacles it probable doesn’t lead anywhere! Clear Sky Australia loves to break down barriers. Slow or fast a mile is mile.

Do you have sources of inspiration? If so, what are they?
Wow, so many! All of the Clear Sky Clients have increased their fitness and strength. Some of our guys could only do 5 minutes on a treadmill but after a few months are now speaking 30 minutes plus on a machine. All of our guys have improved their training techniques and watching and learning from the staff and community has been a great thing.

What is your weekly fitness regime?
We are here Most days! and sometimes on weekends.
