Have you always been involved in fitness or exercise?
At some level. I played touch in my younger years, dance, coached junior rugby league.
Did you have a goal when you first joined Planet Fitness?
Not really, I just wanted to improve my general strength and fitness.
Have you achieved what you originally set out to do?
I think so, but you never stop you just reset a goal.
What was your perception of gyms/health clubs before you joined? Has it changed after joining Planet Fitness?
I had no real perceived idea about what gyms were like. I enjoy Planet Belmont, the people and staff are a friendly group.
What are your fitness goals for the future?
To stay fit and keep working out.
Biggest obstacles you have had to overcome on your fitness journey?
Age and age related injuries.
Do you have any sources of inspiration? If so, who/what are they?
To see myself improve.
What advice do you have for those who are thinking of joining Planet Fitness?
Join! Have a go and seek advice from staff.
What is your weekly fitness regime?
I generally work a different body group daily with a bit of light cardio. I like to train at least six days a week.
