If you’re looking at gaining maximum results in a small amount of time, then circuit training is the perfect workout you. Not entirely sure what it is? We speak to a Personal Trainer on the Central Coast, Benjamin, to tell us what you can expect from our new Circuit Classes at Planet Fitness.

What Does the Circuit Class Entail?

Our 30-minute Circuit Class is a high-intensity workout that alternates between cardio and resistance training.

“It involves a full body workout including 15 cardio steppers and 15 resistance pin loaded machines for optimal training.”

“The circuit works on a green and red light timer for peak interval training. There are 60 seconds of work and then 30 seconds rest to wipe down the station and move along,” says Benjamin, a Personal Trainer on the Central Coast.

“Interval training is a training technique in which you give one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short recovery periods.”

Where Do You Offer the Class?

Benjamin, our Personal Trainer on the Central Coast, says that our new Circuit Class is currently available at our Tuggerah gym. The class will be available at our other Planet Fitness locations soon.

What Are the Benefits of the Circuit Class?

There are many benefits of our new Circuit Classes. Our Personal Trainer on the Central Coast, explains that this full body workout is great for targeting every muscle from head to toe. It also improves your overall fitness level.

“The mixture of strength training and cardio not only gets the heart rate up but also burns more fat in a short amount of time.”

For the best results, Benjamin suggests that you join a circuit class two at least twice a week.

“We suggest only doing the circuit two to three times a week. If done right, it can be a vigorous workout.”

Who Is the Circuit Class For?

Our Personal Trainer from the Central Coast, Benjamin, says this class is ideal for those with limited spare time.

“This class is perfect for anyone with a busy schedule who can only afford to spend 30-45 minutes at the gym.”

Benjamin also encourages new gym members to join the class.

“All the machines in the circuit are also out on the floor which allows you to get used to most of the machines and give you more confidence when performing the exercises.”

There is no age restriction with this Circuit Class. The resistance machines allow you to adjust the weight from 5kgs to 120kgs, so no matter your age, you can push yourself as hard as you want and still get great results.
