Qualifications: University qualified Exercise Scientist, Cert III & IV In Fitness, First Aid/CPR, studying Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology, specialising in the following areas:

  • Exercise Physiology
  • Growth Development and Ageing
  • Nutrition for Health, Fitness and Sport.

Specialisation: Fat loss, Hypertrophy (increase in lean muscle mass), strength, older adults, sport specific training, junior athletes, female athletes.

About Me: I have been passionate about health and fitness all my life, with a background in Soccer and Netball, sports and exercise has been an important aspect of my life! I am currently at University studying a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, with the plan to become an Exercise Physiologist, a job where I can help form healthy habits for people with disease and chronic illness!

I first joined the gym when I was 16 years old, my workouts were repetitive and predominantly cardio based. This style of training did get results, but didn’t take long for those results to plateau and for me to lose motivation quickly. Once I was introduced too resistance training, with an emphasis on strength and increasing muscle tone, it was a lot easier to be consistent in attending the gym, I become a lot more enthusiastic and confident with working out, and became a hobby rather than a chore!

As a trainer I wish to educate and train other people about exercise, and how to be consistent and how to love it!
